Certification marks and certification bodies

China Railway Test & Certification Center certificate - approval of railway products for the Chinese market.

CSA Group certification mark - type testing and factory surveillance; C and US indicators define the market.

CSA Component Acceptance mark - counterpart to UL Recognized for the Canadian market.

UL mark for the USA and Canada - product tested to US and Canadian standards.

DNV Type Approval (formerly DNV GL) for marine equipment - environmental classes according to DNV-CG-0339.

DNV environmental test specification for electrical and electronic equipment on ships.

Wireless Power Consortium certification for Qi wireless charging - compliance and interoperability.

NEBS - environmental requirements and seismic testing (Zones 0–4) for telecommunications equipment and cabinets.

Common mark of seven independent TÜV groups - type testing and production surveillance according to the standard stated in the certificate.

UL component mark (UR) - a part intended for incorporation into an end product, subject to Conditions of Acceptability.

VDE mark (Offenbach) - safety of electrotechnical products to DIN VDE/EN/IEC standards; separate EMC mark.
