Fluke 376 FC Clamp Meter (AC/DC 1000 A, true RMS, iFlex)

True-RMS AC/DC clamp meter for work on switchboards and drives. The supplied flexible iFlex probe fits around busbars and cable bundles that cannot be accessed with the clamp jaws and extends the AC current measuring range.

Features distinguishing it from typical clamp meters include a low-pass filter for measurements downstream of a frequency inverter, inrush-current measurement with noise filtering and Fluke Connect connectivity, allowing readings to be viewed on a phone outside the arc-flash zone with the switchboard doors closed.

During maintenance of substations and trackside cabinets, the meter checks phase loading, point-machine starting currents and battery charger consumption; onboard it measures auxiliary-circuit currents downstream of converters. DC current measurement requires zeroing the indication beforehand; a DC zeroing function is built in.
