UF 6925 - emergency stop module PL e / Cat. 4 / SIL 3, 17.5 mm (SAFEMASTER)

The emergency stop module of the SAFEMASTER family enables and disables a safety circuit on the basis of a two-channel signal from emergency stop buttons or guard position switches. The outputs are forcibly guided relay contacts, which allows the output state to be monitored in the safety circuit. Switches on the device select manual or automatic start and cross-fault detection, and the start input monitors the button wiring for a wire break. LEDs indicate the state of both channels and of the supply.

DOLD intends the module for the protection of people and machines in emergency stop circuits and for monitoring position switches on movable guards; the datasheet states suitability for applications according to EN 61511 and EN 50156-1 for furnaces. The wide supply voltage range allows the module to be fed from different auxiliary networks with one version, and the front-side spring-clamp terminals simplify installation in the narrow housing.

For railways we propose it for emergency stop circuits of stationary equipment: charging and shore supply stations, ventilation and drainage drives in tunnels, platforms and gates in rolling stock maintenance halls. The safety function of the complete system is validated according to EN ISO 13849-2.
