HL 3094N - interface module with forcibly guided contacts, 3 NO + 1 NC, EN 50155 (SAFEMASTER)

The interface module with a forcibly guided contact relay galvanically separates the control circuit from the load circuit and multiplies the signal onto three NO contacts. The NC contact is mechanically linked to the NO contacts: if an NO contact welds, the NC contact stays open and the fault is detectable in the monitoring circuit. DOLD presents the module as a simple way to extend and reinforce the outputs of safety modules, cheaper and smaller than contactors, with contact monitoring through the forcibly guided NC contact.

Double spring-clamp terminals allow signals to be looped without additional terminal blocks and keep a constant contact force under vibration, and the large wire cross-section reduces heating. The module has a reverse-polarity protection diode and a free-wheeling diode; DOLD also offers a version with a socket and the plug-in relay OA 5601 for replacement without disconnecting the wiring, and gold-plated contacts for low-current signal circuits.

In rolling stock we propose it for the equipment cabinet and door control circuits, where a controller signal has to be distributed to several circuits with status monitoring; in infrastructure for interlocking circuits. The datasheet declares the design according to EN 50155 with the full range of temperature classes.
