A panel-mounted solid-state relay with thyristor (SCR) output for industrial loads. The output uses a direct-bond-copper substrate without epoxy encapsulation, reducing junction-to-case thermal resistance and increasing permissible surge current. Three voltage ranges are available: 24–280 V AC with current ratings of 10–125 A and 48–530 V AC with current ratings of 25–90 A. Control is 3–32 V DC, 90–280 V AC or 18–36 V AC. Zero-voltage or instantaneous switching is available as option -10.
The housing has anti-rotation barriers and SEMS screws with washers. EMC immunity is Level 3.
The Sensata applications brochure lists Series 1 twice in the railway section: for rail heating and point control, and for door drives, railway signalling and traffic control. The datasheet declares UL, CSA and TÜV approvals and CE compliance according to EN 60950-1, without railway standards. Suitability for vehicle installation should be confirmed with the manufacturer; the datasheet is sufficient for wayside and point applications.
