PCB safety relays with forcibly guided contacts in a four-contact (OA 5621) and a six-contact (OA 5622) version. An NO and an NC contact can never be closed at the same time, so the relay state can be monitored by the opposite contact - the basis of redundant circuits on the boards of safety modules. DOLD highlights the low height, the low holding power of the coil, the high mechanical life and the high continuous contact current; the wash-proof housing allows wave soldering with board washing.
DOLD lists applications in safety circuits in the datasheet: escalators and moving walkways, passenger and goods lifts, press controls, railway technology and medical technology. In rolling stock we propose them for the boards of door controllers, safety modules and vehicle electronics interfaces; in infrastructure for the boards of interlocking circuits.
Selection covers the coil voltage against the onboard battery, the contact arrangement and the contact material: AgSnO₂ for inductive loads, gold-plated AgNi for signal circuits; the version with double gold-plated contacts is intended for the smallest currents.
