Crydom SeriesOne DR solid-state relays (SSR-switches without moving contacts) in the ATEX version mount on 35 mm DIN rail and are approved for hazardous areas: ATEX II 3G Ex nA IIC T4 Gc for Zone 2 gas atmospheres and UL Class I and II Division 2. DC versions cover 1–60 V DC and 1–100 V DC; AC versions cover 24–280 V AC and 48–600 V AC. Current ratings are 3, 6 or 12 A (for example DR10D12X and DR48D12X).
Control voltage is 4–32 V DC or 18–36 / 90–140 / 200–280 V AC. Zero-voltage switching is used for AC outputs or instantaneous switching in the R version. Approvals: UL and cUL product approval, UL 508, CE and RoHS. In infrastructure and rolling stock, they are used for contactless switching of circuits in hazardous areas such as tunnels, technical chambers and facilities with gas atmospheres where ATEX Zone 2 construction is required.
