Crydom GN0 solid-state relays (SSR-switches without moving contacts) are panel-mounted AC modules rated 25 and 50 A per phase at 48–530 V AC (47–63 Hz); part numbers GN025DSR and GN050DSR.
Control is 4–32 V DC. Permissible surge current is 475/500 A for the 25 A version and 710/750 A for the 50 A version for one cycle. Durability is confirmed by testing according to UL 508. Approvals: UL, CSA, TÜV and CE according to EN 60950-1.
In rolling stock and infrastructure, they are used for contactless switching of AC circuits such as heaters, lighting and motors in equipment cabinets.
