Crydom CW Panel-Mount AC Solid-State Relay (10–125 A, IP20)

Crydom CW solid-state relays (SSR-switches without moving contacts) are panel-mounted AC modules with a removable touch-safe IP20 cover. Two voltage ranges are available: 24–280 V AC (for example CWA2425) and 48–660 V AC (for example CWA4850), at 47–440 Hz, with current ratings of 10, 25, 50, 90 and 125 A.

Control is 3–32 V DC or 90–280 V AC. Zero-voltage switching is used for resistive loads, or instantaneous switching is available.

Permissible surge current is up to 1900/2000 A for one cycle. Motor horsepower ratings are provided according to UL 508 / IEC 60947. Approvals: UL and cUL, CE and RoHS.

In rolling stock and infrastructure, they are used for contactless switching of large AC loads such as heaters, lighting, fans and motors in equipment cabinets.
