The multifunction time relay of the MULTITIMER family provides eight functions selected with a rotary switch: on-delay, off-delay, fleeting on make, fleeting on break, delayed pulse, flasher started with pulse, pulse forming, and on- and off-delay. The time range is selected with a second rotary switch, and an adjustment aid simplifies the setting of long times. The control input interrupts or adds measured time, and the relay accepts control from two-wire proximity sensors. LEDs indicate supply, contact position and time delay.
DOLD offers two housing versions for different installation locations: SK 7817N with terminals at the top and greater depth for cabinets with mounting plate and cable duct, and IK 7817N with terminals at the bottom for installation distribution boards to DIN 43880. The /500 variant adds a cyclic timer, fleeting on make and break, a second time setting and an input for an external potentiometer for remote setting.
The datasheet names time-dependent control in industrial and railway applications as the field of use. For railways we propose it for switching sequences of auxiliary circuits, start-up delays, point heating cycles and control pulses in trackside cabinets. One version covers the whole range of AC and DC control voltages, which reduces the number of stock items in maintenance. The datasheet contains a classification to EN 50155.
