Crydom HAC solid-state relays (SSR-switches without moving contacts) are high-power panel-mounted AC modules rated at 150 A. Two voltage ranges are available: 24–280 V AC and 48–660 V AC (for example HAC24D150 and HAC60D150).
Control voltage is 4–32 V DC, 90–140 V AC or 150–270 V AC. Zero-voltage switching is used for resistive loads or instantaneous switching in the -10 version. Optional integrated surge protection is available in the P version.
In rolling stock and infrastructure, they are used for contactless switching of large AC loads such as high-power heaters and process loads in equipment cabinets.
