Crydom 53TP 3-Phase AC Solid-State Relay (IP20, 25/50 A)

Crydom 53TP solid-state relays (SSR-switches without moving contacts) are three-phase panel modules in a touch-safe IP20 housing; an IP00 version is also available.

Current ratings are 25 and 50 A per phase at 48–530 V AC (47–63 Hz). Control voltage is 4–32 V DC or 18–36 / 90–140 / 180–260 V AC (for example D53TP50C for DC control and B53TP25C for 110 V AC control). Zero-voltage switching is used for resistive loads and instantaneous switching for inductive loads. Permissible surge current is 275/300 A for the 25 A version and 710/750 A for the 50 A version for one cycle.

In rolling stock and infrastructure, they are used for contactless switching of three-phase loads such as fan motors, compressors and three-phase heaters in equipment cabinets.
