XPM-80 ticket printer - with a railway-specific (“Bahn”) short minimum print-length variant documented in the datasheet. The XPM-80 is a thermal ticket printer for 55–86 mm paper, with 300 dpi resolution and print speed up to 150 mm/s. It uses a “pizza cutter” type knife and can be equipped with an optional dual feeder with two independently controlled paper paths and an optional barcode scanner for reading previously printed codes. The XPM-80 has a railway variant documented in the datasheet: the minimum print length is normally 30 mm, but for railway applications (“Bahn”) the manufacturer permits 20 mm - a specific, documented railway adaptation. The printer is mainly used in information kiosks and ticket machines inside stations, on platforms or onboard trains.
