The datasheet specifies use in railway power-supply circuits for 3 kV DC suburban lines - corresponding to Polish traction-network conditions. The fuse-links operate at elevated ambient temperatures, while low pre-arcing I²t - from 8.1 kA²s for the 200 A fuse - minimizes damage to protected components during short circuits. The datasheet provides clearing I²t values at 3500 V for L/R time constants of 15 ms and 45 ms, enabling selection to be verified for the actual circuit inductance.
Power losses from 118 W at 0.8·In (200 A fuse) to 280 W at In (375 A fuse) - values useful for the thermal balance of equipment compartments or switchboards.
