eXtendo thermal printers in narrow (X-56) and wide (X-80) formats - the same operating parameters with different paper widths. The X-56 and X-80 belong to the eXtendo thermal-printer family and differ only in paper width: X-56 supports 49–60 mm, while X-80 supports 60–86 mm. Both print at up to 350 mm/s (24 V DC), cut paper up to 250 g/m² (including thicker tickets) using a guillotine or rotary cutter, and offer USB 2.0/RS-232 (X-56) or USB 1.1/RS-232 (X-80) interfaces. In the railway sector, X-56/X-80 printers are mainly used in information kiosks and ticket machines inside stations, on platforms and onboard trains. Their ability to cut thicker paper (up to 250 g/m²) makes them suitable for printing rigid ticket stock.
