Crydom DC60, DC200, DC300 and DC400 solid-state relays (SSR-switches without moving contacts) are panel-mounted DC power modules with MOSFET outputs. They cover output ranges of 1–48 V DC at 10–100 A, 1–150 V DC at 10–60 A, 1–300 V DC, and 1–400 V DC at 10–20 A respectively. Control voltage is 4–32 V DC.
Low on-state resistance, from approximately 5.6 mΩ, limits thermal losses; permissible surge current is up to 326 A for 10 ms. Operating temperature range is −40 to +100 °C. Approvals: UL and CE according to EN 60950-1.
In rolling stock, they are used for contactless switching of DC power circuits such as heaters, charging circuits and auxiliary loads supplied from the onboard DC network.
