Crydom DRA4-MCX solid-state relay modules (SSR-switches without moving contacts) are four-channel assemblies for 35 mm DIN rail in a 54 mm housing, with LEDs indicating the status of each channel. Each channel switches 12–280 V AC loads up to 5 A; part numbers DRA4-MCX240D5 for 3–15 V DC control and DRA4-MCXE240D5 for 15–32 V DC control. Permissible surge current is 239/250 A for one cycle per channel. Four outputs in one module save DIN-rail space and simplify control wiring.
In rolling stock and infrastructure, they are used for contactless multi-channel switching of low-current lighting, signalling and auxiliary-load circuits in equipment cabinets. The datasheet states that the product was designed to IEC 62314 requirements; the manufacturer does not declare certified compliance with that standard in the datasheet.
