Contact shoes for third-rail current collectors used in urban rail networks. Carbon material - pure, impregnated (including copper-impregnated) or lead-free - reduces friction, protects the conductor rail and extends its service life. Carriers are made of aluminium, copper or steel.
Mounting versions: welded, bonded, clamped, bronze-cast and EcoDesign - a dismountable shoe in which only the carbon element is replaced while the carrier is returned to service. The construction withstands mechanical shocks and traction as well as regenerative-braking currents.
Material compliance with EN 45545 (rolling-stock fire protection). Applications: metro, light rail and people movers.
