French standard - mechanical support structures for onboard electronics (subracks, racks and cabinets according to IEC 297).
The standard specifies the selection and characteristics of mechanical structures derived from IEC 297 publications (19-inch system: plug-in units, subracks, racks and cabinets) used for installing electronic equipment on railway rolling stock.
It applies to rolling stock and enclosure mechanics; electrical requirements are outside its scope.
