Variant of the P41000 series equipped with an Adaptive Gain mechanism that automatically selects the measurement range according to the amplitude of the input signal from the shunt (30–120 mV). This enables accurate measurement of both normal operating currents and short-circuit currents with a single device, without the supervisory system having to switch ranges. The solution is used in applications requiring a wide measurement dynamic range, such as monitoring substations with variable daily load.
