LELHP and CELHP are high-current versions of the 214 family for DC circuits in rolling stock. The poles measure current in parallel-parallel current sensing-allowing a two-pole housing to handle rated currents of 125, 150, 175 and 200 A. LELHP is recognized to UL 489, while the four-pole parallel 400 A CELHP is approved to UL 489A and CSA.
Options include a mid-position handle for trip indication, shunt configuration and remote operator. The device is used in DC motor circuits, high-current telecommunications power supplies and as a main circuit breaker for onboard battery chargers.
