Fluke 805 FC Vibration Meter (vibration and bearing condition tester)

Portable vibration tester for evaluating rotating machinery and bearing condition using a four-level fault severity scale ranging from good to unacceptable. It measures overall vibration as acceleration, velocity and displacement, and assesses bearing condition with its proprietary Crest Factor+ algorithm in the high-frequency band.

Unlike basic vibration meters, its sensor design reduces the effects of measurement angle and contact force, indicates correct probe pressure and incorporates an infrared thermometer for simultaneous temperature measurement. Readings can be transferred to an Excel template or Fluke Connect to create trend histories for each machine.

In rolling-stock undercarriages and onboard equipment, the tester is used for traction and auxiliary motors, compressors, converter cooling fans and pumps. An optional external sensor reaches points inaccessible to the measuring tip. Comparison with ISO 20816 requires selecting the appropriate machine group in the template.
